After decades of disrepair and a restoration that spanned four Jersey City administrations, the Apple Tree House is finally open to the public for exhibitions and events.

Preservation New Jersey (PNJ) announced 2018’s 10 Most Endangered Historic Places and Jersey City’s St. Lucy’s Roman Catholic Complex made the annual list.

A fifth historic district–the first in over 30 years and the only historic district beyond downtown–was established, and as of July 31st, 2016, the West Bergen-East Lincoln Park Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the New Jersey Register of Historic Places, and the Jersey City Municipal Register of Historic Places.
